My dad had his surgery yesterday. So yesterday was a little stressful for me to say the least. It was hard having to stay here instead of going to support my mom as well as my dad. Mom called me before they took my dad back to prepare for surgery around 10:00 am. She didn't call again until 2:00 p.m. I was a little worried but then found out that they were behind schedule so it took them longer than they thought. But he had made it out of surgery fine and they were on their way home. Whew!
Tomorrow, Heath and I are heading to OKC to have a relaxing night away from our kiddos to celebrate our 9th anniversary and Valentine's Day. We have been doing this for the past couple of years and we are both looking forward to getting away. Even if it is for only one night.
